The guests, invited by "Sprachzentrum Süd" and "Bundesverband mittelständische Wirtschaft" (BVMW), were delighted to see the large, gentle four-legged friend. Some of the guests were not deterred by the rainy weather and took the opportunity to make a small circular tour - of course under the supervision of the traditionally dressed full-time Bavarian camel driver Konstantin Klages (www.bayern-kamele.de).
When the rain got stronger, Sprachzentrum Süd showed both their friendliness and love of animals. The Arabian buffet was briefly moved to the side to make room for the camel driver and Attila the camel. The language school staff and guests assembled inside the school greeted the special guest with great laughter. Some even fed dates from the buffet to Attila.
The event focused on the increase in business relations with Arab customers at home and abroad.
In three successive short presentations, the audience was presented with interesting topics:
Josef Maiwald from BVMW spoke about the growing business potential. Benedikt Boller, language services and intercultural competence, clarified the rules of courtesy when dealing with Arabian clients under the slogan "Business-Knigge for Arabia", in particular addressing behavioral dos and don’ts. Stephan Heemken, a specialist for multilingual web pages, pointed out the specifics to be taken into account when companies need to design their website in Arabic.
In addition, he introduced a portal on which companies in German, English and Arabic languages can present cost-effectively. The BVMW, the economic region of Munich, coordinates the exchange of information and experiences and can establish contacts with experts, among others. On "Business with Arab Customers".
