Our English courses usually start in September. It is possible to join any time during the course. Feel free to contact us so that we can recommend the best course for your needs. The English courses take place at our language school "Sprachzentrum Süd" in Holzkirchen, near Munich.

Our English courses offer you:

    English A1

    This English course will prepare you for basic communication in the English-speaking world and focus on speaking. Learning practical English, with which you can participate in simple conversations, ask questions and talk about yourself. In the written section you learn to read simple texts and how to fill out simple forms. The topics come from various everyday situations including: welcoming guests, information about friends, family, food, drink, time, weekly routines, transport, travel, numbers, months, seasons and finding out general information by asking questions and answers. To cover the entire A1 level, several courses are required. Level A1 is defined by the European Council (see the European Reference Framework).

    English A2

    This language level is ideal for those who are able to communicate in basic situations in English but find that they quickly reach their limits in a simple conversation. Therefore, an expansion of language skills is required. In this course, the topics are broadened, learning the following: leisure, personal plans, travel, tourist attractions, holiday situations, ordering food, in the hotel, interests, hobbies, work, clothes, shopping, describing people, informal entertainment and the weather. The focus is not just on learning the vocabulary of the topics, but also the communication strategies, how to talk about the past, ask questions, make suggestions, ordering items, announcing plans, etc. The course helps to improve your language skills as well as improving your grammar. To cover the entire A2 level, several courses are required. Level A2 is defined by the European Council (see the European Reference Framework).

    English B1

    In this English course, the emphasis is on the grammar, which is a requirement at B1 level. The various English tense forms are explained whilst focusing on how to use them in authentic situations. To cover the entire B1 level, several courses are required. Level B1 is defined by the European Council (see the European Reference Framework).

    English B2

    The teaching material and the subject matter become more sophisticated and you should be able to talk spontaneously and fluently with native speakers in most situations. Long lectures and speeches are easier to understand as is the ability to write clear texts and provide detailed information on many topics. This English course works with sophisticated texts that will help you prioritise clear communication tasks, to further improve speaking styles and refine your vocabulary and grammar. To cover the entire B2 level, several courses are required. Level B2 is defined by the European Council (see the European Reference Framework).

    English C1

    This English course is a conversational course where you can refine your language skills and learn to express subtle nuances. Learn to present complex issues in detail whilst being able to express yourself clearly and professionally. To cover the entire C1 level, several courses are required. Level C1 is defined by the European Council (see the European Reference Framework).
